Granite 'countertops' can be regularly maintained by 'washing' them every day with a damp tissue or a granite cleaner. A damp tissue can 'eliminate' any dust, crumbs, or powders that may expand during the development of your day. Depending on the 'shade' as well as the make-up of your granite, dust, crumbs, as well as powders may combine in well just so that unless you are 'watching' for these little specks of debris, you will not even regard them.
If your 'granite' case is to be used for a food product, such as in a kitchen, a regular 'disinfecting' may be required. As granite usually 'forms' in the earth, minuscule holes, as well as crevices, form. These tiny places are 'usually' invisible to the natural eye, as well as cannot be felt. Your 'granite' 'countertops' seem to be a very smooth surface. However, bacteria, as well as germs, can make 'themselves' at a place in these tiny holes. If the idea of these tiny microbes lurking in the outside of your 'countertops' bothers you, fear not! To clean 'kitchen' countertops, simply washed with 'hot' soapy water. Again, depending on the shade as well as the make-up of your 'particular' granite, you may see a residual film left 'behind' by the soap, which is quickly wiped up with a clean, damp cloth.
Granite 'countertops' in the bathroom can be dressed in the same way. Residual smudges, streaks, fingerprints, grime, stray hairs, soap build-up as well as 'toothpaste' lies can be wiped aside with hot, soapy water. Acidic cleaners can 'possibly' bleach or stain granite, so we suggest using soap with a neutral ph, such as mild beauty soap.
