How you use the kitchen workspace is the most crucial aspect when planning the layout for the kitchen area. Most modern kitchens are designed smartly keeping in mind the needs of the users and available space. Modular kitchens are in great demand. They consist of factory-made cabinets which are easy to install. They can also be customized as per the need. If space is the constraint, straight line kitchens are the ideal ones.
As the name suggests, an L shaped modular kitchen has a layout in which the countertops are placed against adjoining walls perpendicular to each other so that they form the letter L. It is a fairly standard design found in most homes and is quite efficient. Designed more for small or medium sized houses or apartments, the L shaped kitchen is a great alternative when your kitchen doesn’t have the space for an island. It also works great for areas that are open plan.
Kitchen cabinets or cabinetries are the most important part of the kitchen. For storing the food items, crockery, machinery, kitchen tools, utensils etc, a huge storage system or cabinet system is required. The cabinets in India are designed in a very clever and designer way. The cabinets located in the bottom portion of the slab are known as the floor unit while the cabinets attached to the walls is known as the wall unit.
